Oakland United Methodist Church seeks to provide the opportunity for a “closer walk” with Jesus to every person who wants to experience a deeper relationship with God. Our Purpose is to build a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people are becoming deeply committed Christians. God’s creativity speaks to each person in their own unique way. We believe that Jesus calls us to use all of the gifts at our disposal to serve God and our community. Our worship and programming is designed to help people know, love and serve God as committed disciples who are actively building the Kingdom of God, God’s Beloved Community!
